Warranty

DRUM RUNNER Material Handling Company (DRUM RUNNER) warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to perform to applicable, published DRUM RUNNER specifications for twelve (12) months from the date of shipment. Product which has been misuses or abused, neglected, damaged by accident, fire, lightening, water or acts of God will not be covered under this warranty nor shall products that has been repaired or modified without the written consent of DRUM RUNNER unless in DRUM RUNNER’S judgment the repair or modification has not affected the performance or reliability of the product. DRUM RUNNER will have final determination as to the cause of product defect.

DRUM RUNNER offers, at no charge, an extended warranty on the above listed Models. DRUM RUNNER warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to perform to applicable published DRUM RUNNER specifications for twenty four (24) months on components, excluding common maintenance replacement parts and weighing options, and sixty (60) months from the date of shipment on the frame structure, excluding frame coating. The 24/60 month extended warranty described above applies from the date the Product is shipped. The warranty for replacement parts does not extend beyond the original warranty. The 24/60 month extended warranty does not apply to components which were not installed on the Product at the time of its shipment. The following parts are considered common replacement parts and are not covered under this warranty after six (6) months from date of shipment: Spring plungers; Bearings; Rubber/Liners; Hoses/Lines/Chains; and Lift Jaws. The following parts are considered common replacement parts and are not covered under this warranty after twelve (12) months from date of shipment: Wire Rope; Casters; Brakes/Stabilizers; Sheaves; Batteries; and Clamping Assembly.

If within seven (7) days of receipt of a standard product you are not completely satisfied, return of product will be accepted. Drums, pumps, heaters, spouts, valves, de-headers and other accessories are non-refundable once used by the customer. You must call within the seven day period to receive an authorization number to return the unit, freight prepaid. As proof of timely return shipment, a copy of the bill of lading must be faxed to DRUM RUNNER within 48 hours of receiving the return authorization number. The product must be returned in original condition. If the product is not returned in original condition, DRUM RUNNER will charge you $65.00 per hour plus parts to make any and all repairs necessary to return the product to original condition. Original freight charges will not be credited; you will be responsible for payment of these charges. Return of non-standard products (customized) is not permitted. Non standard product will be indicated on your quote and order acknowledgment.

At DRUM RUNNER’S discretion, the return of product after 7 days may be permitted. If allowed, a restocking charge of 15% will be charged to you. If the product is not returned in original condition, DRUM RUNNER will charge you $65.00 per hour plus parts (in addition to the 15% restocking charge) to make any and all repairs necessary to return the product to original condition. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE will returns of standard products be permitted after 15 days of receipt. Return of non- standard products (customized) is not permitted. Non standard product will be indicated on your quote and order acknowledgment.

Should any defects in material or workmanship be found, DRUM RUNNER will repair or replace, at our expense, any manufacturing defect. DRUM RUNNER reserves the right to inspect possible faulty equipment prior to making a determination. If DRUM RUNNER finds it necessary to send a service technician to your location, or have the equipment returned to DRUM RUNNER for repair, DRUM RUNNER will cover all expenses incurred by doing so. For covered warranties outside the Continental United States, it is your responsibility to pay all freight charges incurred to return the product to DRUM RUNNER. It is DRUM RUNNER’S sole decision and responsibility to arrange for any service that may be required. DRUM RUNNER will not be responsible for any reimbursement of labor and/or expenses for unauthorized work performed.

Should any defects in material or workmanship be found, the liability of DRUM RUNNER shall be limited to repairing or replacing, without charge, any defective products which are returned F.O.B. DRUM RUNNER Plant, freight prepaid. DRUM RUNNER reserves the right to inspect possible faulty product prior to making a determination. DRUM RUNNER agrees to make its determination within a reasonable length of time. Repaired product or replacement product will be returned freight collect

Before returning product or obtaining service work, you must contact our office for a Return Authorization Number. You must provide the following information when calling 1) Model & serial number 2) Brief description of malfunction. DRUM RUNNER, within 1 business day, will then notify you of the Return Authorization Number, and what corrective action will be taken. DRUM RUNNER will not be responsible for any reimbursement of labor and/or expenses for unauthorized work performed.

Your receiving personnel have the responsibility to check all incoming shipments for transportation damage (obvious and concealed). The acceptance of this shipment by your receiving personnel is acknowledgment that the product was received in good condition. If a shipment is damaged do not return it to DRUM RUNNER. Contact the delivering Transportation Company. Damaged freight is the Transportation Company’s responsibility.

If you have purchased a weighing option, re-calibration could be required. DRUM RUNNER calibrates the scale prior to shipment, but makes no warranty on calibration. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY ABOVE, DRUM RUNNER MAKES NO WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, (I) NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND (II) NO IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. DRUM RUNNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY OTHER LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE OF ANY KIND, ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES FURNISHED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM MISUSE, NEGLIGENCE OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PUBLISHED OPERATING MANUALS IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF DRUM RUNNER. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID TO THE ORIGINAL USER ONLY AND IS NONTRANSFERABLE. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO PRODUCT USED FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES.
